Ultra Thin Lightboxes

Ultra thin Lightbox sign

Normal lightboxes that advertises business name or logo are normally thick in structure. These thick lightboxes have their lightsource located at the bottom and firing up. DisplayLCM ultra thin lightboxes have their lightsource located at the sides and firing from the edge. By using lightguide panel technology, we are able to keep the lightboxes thin at 20mm.

This type of design will make the lightbox structure high profile. This type of design is also prone to bright spots if the density of the light-source is not sufficiently placed. The figure below shows what we are seeing in the market right now.

We can do ultra thin lightbox signage in our factory by using edge-lit lightsource. This lightsource will fire from the side through a PMMA panel that is marked by calculated arrangements of dots. These dot markings on the PMMA panel are either printed or laser marked. The design and arrangement of the dots are crucial in ensuring uniform dispersal of light throughout the size of the panel. The technology of our factory can be read here at EB-LCM.COM.

Due to our PMMA dot markings technology, the lightbox sign structure allows the reduction in thickness. For a double side lighted up signage, the thickness of the structure is less than 20mm.
